Recyclable Dye

Raw materials we use for the dying process grant a short supply chain, traced and guaranteed, non-toxic and without pesticides, nitrates and preservatives.

With the “cold-dyeing” process we dilute color in water, where we then immerse the fabric until it is soaked. Finally, the fabric is brushed to distribute the color evenly.

Color oxidizes and fixes when in contact with air.

The residue of the dye bath can be reused for new processes, however as the quantity of dying pigments diminish, it can either be recharged or used for gradually more tenuous shades.

The great news is that at the end of the production cycle the dyeing baths can be disposed of or even, as we like to imagine, used as natural fertilizers or to water the plants in the garden.

Little water, no energy and recycle of color baths: sounds like peace of mind to us!

Our partner is Phillacolor, a Italian company founded by Laura and Francesca, based in Valle D’Aosta, Italy.

Together with them we create your colors and dye your garments.
